COCONUT BURFI/THENGA BURFI

|Coconut Flakes||2 cups,fresh|
|Ghee||1 tbsp(for greasing)|
Method of Preparation:
2. Stir gently over the medium flame. After few minutes, the sugar starts to melt down, mixture starts to thicken and leave the sides. Switch off.
- Once you transfer to the plate, let it cool for only five minutes, then cut down the desired shapes when it is still warm and then let it cool down again.
- If you let it cool completely before cutting the shapes, burfi gets set and will be difficult to cut perfect shapes.
- You can add ghee, cardamom and cashew-nuts for a more rich flavour.
