Breads make an excellent breakfast in a busy morning or a quick snack after a heavy workout. Breads be it sweet or savoury or sandwiched or grilled is an easy, quick and tasty super filling food. I love to choose from the variety of breads available in the supermarket to make my sandwiches.
BREAD TOAST RECIPE

Ingredients:
Sweet Bread Toast:
Bread Slices - 4

Sugar - 1 tbsp
Milk - 1/2 cup

Spicy Bread Toast:
Bread Slices - 4
Bread Slices - 4
Egg - 2
Milk - 1/2 cup
Onion - 1/2, chopped finely
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Chilli Flakes - to sprinkle on top
For toasting:
Milk - 1/2 cup
Onion - 1/2, chopped finely
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Chilli Flakes - to sprinkle on top
For toasting:
Oil / Butter - as required
Method of Preparation:
Sweet Bread Toast:
In a mixing bowl, whisk all the items under sweet bread toast ingredients and keep. Heat ghee/butter in a tawa, dip bread slices in the egg-milk mixture for few seconds and toast in the tawa til golden brown. Serve warm with sprinkled sugar on top.
Spicy Bread Toast:
In a mixing bowl, whisk all the items under spicy bread toast ingredients and keep. Heat ghee/butter in a tawa, dip bread slices in the egg-milk mixture for few seconds, add onions on top and sprinkel few red chilli flakes and toast in the tawa til golden brown.
Serve warm with sugar sprinkles and tomato sauce!!!
