Chocolate is always yum and anything with chocolate is so yum and everyone favourite. So here in the recipe of Chocolate Millets Ladoo in which cocoa acts as a binder of healthy millets to a delicious sweet ladoo. I am sure no kid can just have one!!! The ladoo is prepared with millet flours and has the richness of milkmaid with lots of ghee.
CHOCOLATE MILLET LADOO RECIPE

Ingredients:
Dry Roast Items:
Finger Millet / Ragi / Kelvaragu - 1 cup
Foxtail Millet / Thinai - 1 cup
Semolina / Rava - 1 cup
Cashews - 10
Almonds / Badam - 10
Other Ingredients:
Cocoa - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tsp
Milkmaid - 1 cup
Ghee - as required, melted
Finger Millet / Ragi / Kelvaragu - 1 cup
Foxtail Millet / Thinai - 1 cup
Semolina / Rava - 1 cup
Cashews - 10
Almonds / Badam - 10
Other Ingredients:
Cocoa - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tsp
Milkmaid - 1 cup
Ghee - as required, melted
Method of Preparation:
1. Dry roast all the ingredients under dry roast in a tawa at Low heat for 2-3 minutes or till nice aroma comes. Put all together in big mixing bowl. Add the cocoa Powder to the mixing bowl.
2. Dry roast the nuts (cashews and almonds) and powder it coarse in a blender. Add it to the mixing bowl. Add sugar. Mix well.
3. Add milkmaid and mix again. Add required melted ghee and make it to small balls.
Store in an air tight container.
Notes:
- Serve as snacks for kids and they will love it with the addition of cocoa in ladoo.
- You can also add other varieties of millet like barnyard millet flour, little millet flour and varagu.
Serve with Hot Milk or Hot Badam Milk for kids!!! We had it with Crispy Murukku's!!!
