Honey - 5-6 tbsp
Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tsp
Cashew nuts - 10, broken to small bits
Ghee - 2 tbsp
Method of Preparation:
For Thinai Flour: Place a pan on medium flame. Roast the grains along with the ghee for 6-8 minutes. Initially the ghee would make the grains stick together but once it starts getting roasted, the grains will separate and aroma starts arising. Transfer the grains to a plate and let it cool. Grind to a fine powder.
For Ladoo's: Heat ghee in a pan, roast the broken cashew-nuts til golden brown. In a bowl, take the thinai/ foxtail millet flour, add the roasted cashew nuts, jaggery powder, cardamom powder and mix well. Add honey and mix well. Now make them into small laddoos. Store in air tight conatainers and keep in a cool place.
