Ingredients:
Bengal Gram Flour (Besen) - 1 cup
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Salt - to taste
Oil - to grease the sev press

- Pre Heat the oven at 200 degree C. Grease the baking tray with oil.
- In a mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients and add enough water little by little to form a semi-stiff dough while kneading. If it goes sticky, add flour and knead to the desired consistency. Grease oil in your hands and shape the dough into a roll for fitting in the sev press.
- Fill the dough into the sev press and press out thin strands onto the graesed baking tray.
- Bake in the pre heated oven at 200 degree C for 10-12 minutes or till it turns crisp and turns light brown in colour. Cool completely, crush it and store it in an air tight container.
