Every home enjoys having hot, soft, fluffy idlis for breakfast with varieties of chutneys or like in my home with spicy mutton kothukari kuzhambu which gives the entire day a power start!!! So, here is a recipe with left over idli's which makes an amazing tiffen box recipe for kids and office goers. These spicy tava idli are defnitely super spicy loaded with the freshness of lemon and coriander which tickles your taste buds :)

SPICY TAVA IDLIS RECIPE

Ingredients:
Idli's - 4, left over, cut into small cubes
Onions- 1, finely chopped
Tomatoes - 1, finely chopped
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Ginger Powder - 1 tsp
Black Slat - 1/2 tsp
Pav Bhajji Masala - 1 tbsp
Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Onions- 1, finely chopped
Tomatoes - 1, finely chopped
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Ginger Powder - 1 tsp
Black Slat - 1/2 tsp
Pav Bhajji Masala - 1 tbsp
Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
1. Prepare the ingredients and keep it ready. In a pan, heat oil and add onions. Saute well till the onions turn golden brown. Add tomatoes and spices. Cook in medium flame for 2 minutes.
2. Add Pav Bhajji Masala and salt. Mix well. Add cut idli's and mix well. Let it cook in medium flame for 3 minutes. Keep tossing to avoid sticking and to coat uniformly with spices. Garnish with coriander leaves.
Notes:
- The pav bhajji masala brings in whole new flavours to the idli's.
- You can also add finely chopped green chillies. This is very spicy already.
- If you are serving to kids, reduce the pav bhajji masala to 1 tbsp from 2 tbsp.
