Everyone likes ladies finger. The one vegetable I happily ate in my childhood days. A simple lunch box side dish recipe : Ladies Finger Fry!

Preparation Time: 10 minutes Cooking Time: 20 minutes Serves: 2
Ingredients:
Ladies Finger - 20, cut finely
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Curd or Besen Flour - 1 tbsp (optional )
Oil - 1 tbsp
Method of Preparation:
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1 tbsp
Salt - to taste
Curd or Besen Flour - 1 tbsp (optional )
Oil - 1 tbsp
Method of Preparation:
1. Wash the ladies finger well and dry them with a kitchen towel. Chop them and keep it ready. Heat oil in a kadhai, add ladies finger and saute well in medium heat for few minutes.
2. It starts to brown, add salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Saute well in medium heat till it gets crispy. It is optional to add curd or besen flour (1 tbsp) to prevent stickiness of ladies finger. I add besen flour and it gives a rich taste when roasted well.
Notes:
- Add curd or besen if you prefer to remove the stickiness or you can cook further to remove the stickiness.
- You can also microwave the cut pieces for 5-8 minutes to prevent stickiness of ladies finger.
- Don't use high heat, instead saute in medium heat for a long time.
