Easy and tasty chutney for a busy morning goes well with idli, dosa and chapathi's.
TOMATO CHUTNEY RECIPE

Ingredients:
Onion - 1, roughly chopped
Tomatoes - 2 , deseeded, chopped roughly
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt -to taste
Coconut pieces - 6-8 OR Coconut grated - 2 tbsp
To temper:
Oil - 2tsp
Urad Dhal - 1 tsp
Dry Red Chilli - 3, broken
Method of Preparation:

Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt -to taste
Coconut pieces - 6-8 OR Coconut grated - 2 tbsp
To temper:
Oil - 2tsp
Urad Dhal - 1 tsp
Dry Red Chilli - 3, broken
Method of Preparation:
1. Prepare the ingredients and keep it ready.Heat oil in a kadhai, temper the items "To Temper". Add onions and saute till golden brown. Add tomatoes and keep sauteing.
2.Add salt and turmeric powder. Add coconut pieces or grated coconut. Just saute for a minute. Turn off. Let the mixture cool. Transfer to a food processor and grind to a fine chutney with water.
Tasty thakali chutney is ready to be served. Tastes delicious with Idli/ Dosa / Chapathi!!!
