Got some fresh corn???
A perfect evening snack with a cup of coffee!!! This recipe brings back memories of my career in Coimbatore when we used to regularly have sweet corn in a shop then we would have the most famous Coimbatore roadside kalan and finish our dinner. Here is the method to prepare a Spicy, buttery boiled corn with a touch of lemon.
BOILED CORN RECIPE
Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
Fresh Corns - as required
Spice Mix:
Lemon Slices
Salt
Red Chilli Powder
Butter

Method of Preparation:
- Remove husks and silks from the corn.
- Drop the corn into the pressure cooker, add water and salt. Pressure cook for 2 whistle and simmer over 5 minutes. Once the pressure is released, open and drain the water.
- When it is still hot, rub a slice of lemon over it. Then rub butter over it. Then using the lemon, rub salt and red chilli powder mix on the corn.
- You can also grill the boiled corn over stove top method and then repeat the process of spices.
