One of the easy cooking protein in less time is prawn. Grew up eating authentic prawn masala that amma makes on weekends, my brother and I would finish the whole in minutes. Now, when I make these for amma, she enjoys it!!! What else I would ask for, loved cooking for my Amma!!!
PRAWN 65 RECIPE

Ingredients:
Prawn - 1/2 kg, white, fresh, devine, clean
All Purpose Flour - 2 tbsp
Oil - for frying
Marination:
Rice Flour - 1 tbsp
Corn Flour - 1 tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
Pepper Powder - 2 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 3 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Egg White - 1 (Use only the required quantity to mix)
To Serve:
Sliced Onions
Lemon Wedges
Notes:
All Purpose Flour - 2 tbsp

Notes:
- Adjust the quantity of egg white according to the dry ingredients, the marination mixture should be thick.
- If the quantity used for the recipe is more, you can add egg yolk along for the marination.
- If the marination goes watery, increase the quantity of all purpose flour used for coating.
- Check taste of the marination mix for salt and spice and adjust accordingly before adding the prawns.
Method of Preparation:
1. Clean and devine the prawn. Wash it with turmeric powder again. Let it drain. Keep aside. In a bowl, add everything under the "Marination" and mix well to a paste.
2. Mix the prawns in the marination mixture for 30 minutes. Then add all purpose flour to coat the prawns. Let it sit in fridge for 5-10 minutes. Deep fry till its cooked. Drain in a tissue paper.

Serving Suggestion:
Best served with butter sauce as a starter. Also as side dish to non veg recipes like briyani and non veg meals.
